Hiking & Mountain Biking
Members and their families can enjoy meandering through the many miles of hiking trails on club property. The club trails are clearly marked and begin at the corner of the club house parking lot and go as far out as the Copicut Reservoir. Hikers and bikers can choose to stay on the club's private trails, or veer off at the intersection of the Ridge Hill Reserve Trail that is managed
by the Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust (DNRT). Hikers and bikers will observe a myriad of the region's natural beauty and are likely to encounter some of the many species of wild life that inhabit the area. There are spots along the trails where wild pheasants, deers, and turkeys are likely to appear, and where hikers/bikers can break to enjoy bird watching, sight-seeing, or to take advantage of the scenic photographic opportunities. |
